Free – never pay back.

Pell – Very good for low income.

Loans

• Subsidized – government pays interest unlike school

• Un subsidized – you pay interest during school.

You pay back starting six months after graduation (approximately 10 years)

Military

GI bill – Military pays with B or above average.

ROTC – supplements; help pay.

FAFSA – free application federal students.

• Fill out every year after January 1st.

• Know tax info for yourself and parents.

• EFC – estimated family contributions.

TAG – private schools (TUITION ASSISTANCE GRANT)

2,500 a year.

Why is work study better than off campus jobs?

Taxes work – study taxes are less than a regular job.

Hours are limited.
